INSHORE FISHING
When booking a backcountry fishing charter you will be fishing the pristine flats and mangrove lined shorelines in beautiful Tampa Bay and the surrounding waters. You could begin your fishing adventure targeting Snook, Redfish, Trout or many others. Due to Tampa Bay’s diverse eco system your opportunity to catch other species is abundant. Captain Dave always knows what’s biting, and he’ll put you on the best bite for that time of year.

**10 Hour Tarpon fishing charter consists of starting at 6am, fishing until approximately noon, going to one of the waterfront restaurants for lunch, finishing the expedition fishing until approximately 5pm. This is a great way to ensure that you will be on the boat for the best bite of the day.
TARPON FISHING (APRIL-JUNE)
No matter what age or experience level you are, Tarpon fishing with Captain Dave in Tampa Bay or Boca Grande is an experience of a lifetime. Nowhere else in the world can you find a fishery like Boca Grande Pass! There is a reason it’s referred to as the Tarpon Capital of the world. Every year hundreds of thousands of tarpon congregate in the pass and the surrounding beaches. Boca Grande has been the gathering point for these massive schools of fish due to the abundance of food; Tarpon come in great numbers in advance of their yearly spawn.
The action in the pass is unlike anything you have ever experienced. It’s not uncommon to have multiple fish biting each fisherman's line at once. Your fishing adventure will be exciting and intensified seeing the Tarpon rolling and jumping throughout your expedition.
There isn’t anywhere else you could go and experience the big game fish
of the inshore world quite like Boca Grande.

NEARSHORE FISHING
Nearshore fishing charters are a great opportunity for you to experience offshore fishing while still being in sight of land. Fortunately, the abundance of hard bottom areas and wrecks off the coast of Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg provide a great opportunity for catching a variety of fish like, Tripletail, Cobia, Grouper, Snapper, Kingfish, Permit, and so much more. Due to the increased amount of run time to areas, Nearshore trips are only available in 6 and 8 hour trips.

Rates are based on 2 anglers per boat. $50 each additional angler, up to 4 total.
The charter times are stated above; however, we are not defined by the clock. We don't mind staying longer if the bite is incredible. Our goal is to make your trip with Tampa Inshore Fishing the most enjoyable and memorable day spent on the water.
Multiple boat trips can also be arranged.
All reservations require a $150 deposit. All deposits are refundable provided cancellations are made at least 30 days in advance or due to weather conditions. Weather cancellations are made at Captain Dave's discretion. Trips cancelled within 30 days must be rebooked based on Captains availability.
Corporate or multi-boat trips are available for large parties. Captain Dave has affiliations with a large amount of highly professional captains that use only the highest grade professional equipment in the industry today. Captain Dave can even arrange for lunch at one of our great waterfront restaurants during your trip.
**Gratuities are never expected, but greatly appreciated if the captain went above and beyond your expectations.
